This scene is much more subdued but it doesn't remove you from the romance with Gale.How to Romance Gale in Act 3This scene is very missable. After reading "The Annals of Karsus" make sure to speak to Gale in camp before resting for the night and before heading to the Tabernacle per Elminster's request. You can have Gale speak to Elminster, but be sure to not rest for the night or this conversation prompt will disappear.After reading about Crown of Karsus while inside the vault of the Sorcerous Sundries through the book "The Annals of Karsus", Gale will want to have a chat in camp. Gale will go on about the power of the crown. Pick the following options: Close your eyesThen pick any of the options for the next prompt, followed by: "I feel the same. Whatever you need of me, consider it done" Kiss himThis will lead to a small scene between you and Gale. Alternatively, if you choose to try and talk Gale down from doing something reckless, you can choose the following choices: "This sounds dangerous" "I can't, Gale. This is best forgotten. I love you as you are" "You're already everything I need you to be"This will lead to the same scene, but allow some peace of mind for Gale's conquest to become a God. It remains to be said if this leads to a different outcome, but his mind will be made up when he goes to continue his companion quest when you speak to Elminster to head to the Tabernacle. Be sure to accept Gale's offer to learn how to control the weave and then you'll be given a series of checks, where you can choose the one you're best in. They're relatively low DC at 5 only, but don't worry about being perfect, because Gale won't mind either. Finally, pick these options: "Magical." or "You're a good teacher." You hold on to the moment. It's a good night for intimacy. You picture kissing him.Gale will be taken aback, very bashful but he'll be approving. He'll send you off to bed without anything more. Although nothing came of tonight, things are still on the right track. The next time you talk to Gale, he'll talk about Tara, his familiar. Choose options that show interest in Gale and then finally, choose one of the last options: Don't stop there. What else do you like about me?This will set you on the right track to continue pursuing this romance into Act 2.How to Romance Gale in Act 2If you haven't already, pursuing Gale's romance in Act 2 will require you to stabilize his Netherese Orb, which you can do by talking to him in intervals during your journey when he requests a magical item from you.In Act 2, you'll have to talk to Elminster and invite him to your camp. We found Elminster at the front of the Shadow-Cursed Lands. This will just move along Gale's companion quest, which is important for his romance.The next prompt we got after we completed the Gauntlet of Shar, right before the final battle of Act 2. Head back to your camp and you should find a Mirror Image of Gale in place of where Gale normally is. You'll want to follow it in order to trigger the next scene. You can tell it later or not interested, but so long as you don't rest for the night, you'll still be able to continue to the next scene.You'll then find Gale sitting in a meadow, where you'll sit beside him. You can pick any of the options for the first three prompts and then you want to select the following: "I'm not going anywhere, Gale. I'll be by your side, whatever dawn brings" "Lean in for a kiss" or "I'm in love with you too"You can then pick any of the next options after you share a kiss. Next, Gale will want to show you something. Agree to it and he'll take you to an illusion of Waterdeep. You can choose any of the options for the prompts up until the one where Gale courts you. Select the option: "I think that sounds delightful - but I don't see a bed." "Show me more. Show me it all."This will lead to a sex scene with Gale where you'll share a night among the stars -
