Learning a new language is never an easy thing to do. It is definitely a challenge. We often hear people saying Portuguese is the hardest language to learn. But is that really true? We are pretty sure any language has its features, peculiarities, and degrees of difficulty. In a globalized world, the more languages you speak, the better. Speaking different languages is not only good for business, after all. It is also a great ally for making connections, meeting new people and cultures. Not to mention it makes traveling around the globe much easier. The difficulty one may have to learn a new language will depend on different factors. For example, the languages that said person already speaks. Someone who speaks Spanish, Italian, or French ends up learning Portuguese much quicker, without major difficulties. Since all of these languages come from the Latin family, they are quite similar in both structure and vocabulary.A Japanese speaker, on the other hand, will probably find Portuguese quite difficult, as there are not so many similarities between the two languages. Therefore, an Asian student may struggle when looking for those similarities to make their understanding easier. But that doesn’t mean they cannot effectively learn Portuguese as well. It will probably just take a few more classes for them to get the hang of it.In other words: speakers of each language will find different difficulties in learning Portuguese.A few difficulties a foreign student may have when learning Portuguese:Nasal soundsVerbsS sounding like ZRegional accentsFalse friendsRules & exceptionsIt’s not rocket scienceA few difficulties a foreign student may have when learning Portuguese:Nasal soundsThe Portuguese language features lots of nasal sounds. Nasal vowels and diphthongs, such as ‘ã’, ‘om’, ‘ãe’, and ’em’ may be hard to pronounce. ‘Pão’ is one of the words our students find the most difficult to pronounce.. musically. com learn. musically. com The Music Ally Learning Hub What are we launching? music:)ally is launching a brand new Learning Hub for the music industry, with more than 30 modules of certified video content at launch, combined with support-ing materials from the rest of music:)ally’s information and insight. music:)ally hasLearning Ally salaries: How much does Learning Ally pay?
Teachers can start by following Learning Ally's Implementation Success Plan -- determining eligibility, signing up students, and then assigning books based on students' Lexiles and interests. Teachers should give students a tour of the program's features, and then work with individual students to get the program set up in a way that works for each student. Each student can tweak the pace of the books as well as the text display to address their unique needs. Teachers should also encourage students to make use of the notes and vocabulary features as they read, for instance students might highlight and note/bookmark any new words they encounter. Since there are no built in comprehension assessments, teachers could also give students a purpose each time they're reading via note-taking tasks, e.g. noting any sentences that communicate a particular theme of a text. This feature is a little tricky to use, but could be helpful if scaffolded well. While teachers can assign books, one of the more interesting design choices made by Learning Ally is to give students free range over the full library of books. It'd be great to encourage students to find and choose books they're interested in reading, but teachers will want to monitor these choices (via the dashboard) to make sure students aren't getting frustrated by the choices they make. Learning Ally Audiobooks is a digital library app (web, iOS, Android) that features human-voiced audiobooks. It's designed to meet the needs of struggling readers, including those with a learning disability, physical disability, or visual impairment. Educators supporting these students get free access. The collection of 80,000 human-read audiobooks include mass market and classic literature and fiction, non-fiction, and curriculum-aligned titles. Students and teachers can easily locate books based on grade, Lexile, subject, category, or curriculum, Students can add books to their library, download them (for offline use), and read them, or teachers can assign books to one student or an entire class. Fire on one of your mechs, you could potentially lose a pilot.Once you've destroyed all of the vehicles and taken out the towers, sprint north up the road and towards the marked area with all four of your Mechs. After securing the crash site, you'll be given another objective to defend it against 7 pirate reinforcements: a Commando COM-1B, a Jenner JR7-D, a Locust LCT-1V, a Galleon vehicle model and Scorpion vehicle model. You need to destroy these 5 enemies first before the pirate leader Grim Sybil appears with a new kind of Mech: a Quickdraw QKD-4G along with a last ally piloting a Shadow Hawk SHD-2H.Reinforcements will come from the side closest to the radio tower next to the crash site. Use these free turns to sprint and build up your evasion points. Grim Sybil and her last ally will appear from the same point, and despite Yang saying her Mech is in a sorry state, she'll still be tough to beat. Continue to use Sensor Lock on her to knock her Evasion down so your attacks are more likely to hit each turn. Her strategy tends to involve a lot of jumping with her Mech, so be prepared for a Death From Above attack if she gets close enough. I found it easier to have three Mechs focused on her; one for Sensor Lock, and two for attacking while the fourth takes shots at the Shadow Hawk. And if you have an opportunity for a melee attack, I'd use it. It's saved my butt plenty of times during this and previous missions. Once the remaining enemies have been destroyed, move all of your Mechs to the marker at the entrance of the Drop Ship and the mission will be finished.First StrikeMake your way to the gates from the. musically. com learn. musically. com The Music Ally Learning Hub What are we launching? music:)ally is launching a brand new Learning Hub for the music industry, with more than 30 modules of certified video content at launch, combined with support-ing materials from the rest of music:)ally’s information and insight. music:)ally has
