The editor also indicates a potential error when a property doesn't have a corresponding operation or value. Potential errors in the query are highlighted in red text, and explanations and possible fixes for the error are displayed in the Potential errors drop-down section.ImportantNested quotation marks aren't supported in the KQL editor. For example, if you pasted the following query into the KQL editor, four potential errors would be detected. In this case, you can use the potential error hints to troubleshoot and fix the query.More informationYou can toggle between the condition builder and the KQL editor. For example, if you use the condition builder to configure a query using the Keywords box and multiple condition cards, you can display the resulting query in the KQL editor. You can also access the properties for the currently selected profile in an editor by selecting Editor Profile Properties on the View menu. The Profile name is used to identify the profile in the Editor Profiles dialog and on the View menu in editors. The Editor type setting determines what types of sequences this profile is intended for. The View menu in editors will only show profiles with a compatible editor type. The available editor types include Arrangement, Note, Curve, Sound - Master, Sound - Slave, Embed variations, and the generic All types. The Sound - Master profile type is used when opening sound objects directly from the project window, and thus should contain a transport toolbar. A Sound - Slave profile will typically not contain a transport toolbar, as this profile type is used when opening the sound through an audio event in an arrangement editor, and thus will be linked to the transport in the arrangement editor. The embed variations of the note, curve, and sound types are used for the embedded editor region. The All types editor type will be available in all editors, and is typically used for an event list profile. The Region list shows a descriptive label of all the regions that are currently added to the profile. Clicking the Insert New... button will show a menu where you can select a region type, and subsequently a properties dialog for the selected region type is opened. Alternatively you can click Copy to insert a duplicate of the currently selected region. The Move Up and Move Down buttons can be used to rearrange the regions. Clicking the Properties... button will bring up the properties dialog for the currently selected region. Some profile and region settings are not accessible through the properties dialogs but are stored in the profile when modified in the editor. These settings include positions of horizontal and vertical drag bars, panel collapse states and various mode selectors in the regions. When a profile is selected in an editor, these 'last used' settings will be used as defaults.A common feature

The Bulk Editor is used to edit a small set of properties over a large number of objects. Changes and updates are immediately committed as you make them, field by field. The Bulk Editor includes a Bulk Editor Wizard for specifying the data to edit and saving those selections as option sets for use with the model in a future editing session, or shared by all models. Because the Bulk Editor is empty the first time you invoke it in a session, the Bulk Editor Wizard is automatically opened so you can make your object and property type selections. Thereafter, the Bulk Editor is displayed as a modeless grid on a tab page on the erwin® Data Modeler main window that shows your selected object instances as rows and your selected properties as columns. You can resize, rearrange, or float the Bulk Editor within the erwin® Data Modeler application. Objects are identified by their name in the Name column, which is non-editable. A read-only Type column is next to the Name column that displays the object type. You can click the button on the Bulk Editor toolbar at any time to open the Bulk Editor Wizard to change the object instances and properties that appear in the Bulk Editor. During a session, opening the Bulk Editor or the Bulk Editor Wizard displays the same settings and data as the last time it was shown. These settings are stored independently for each model. This is necessary since different models can have different DBMS targets and contents, so selections of object types, properties, and object instances can be different across models. The configuration settings are stored in the registry, so each user retains their own Bulk Editor settings. Copyright © 2021 Quest Software Inc. All rights reserved.
