Pendakwah terkenal Indonesia, Syekh Ali Jaber meninggal dunia. - Foto CNN Indonesia JAKARTA - [DIKEMASKINI] Pendakwah terkenal Indonesia, Syekh Ali Jaber meninggal dunia di Rumah Sakit Yarsi, Jakarta pada Khamis.Menerusi laporan CNN Indonesia, berita kematian Syekh Ali Jaber atau nama sebenarnya Ali Saleh Mohammed Ali Jaber dimaklumkan oleh Ustaz Yusuf Mansyur menerusi akaun Instagramnya @yusufmansurnew."Innaa lillaahi Wa Innaa Ilaihi Raaji'uun. Syeikh Ali Jaber meninggal di Hospital Yarsi, jam 8.30 pagi Tolong berdoa," tulis Yusuf Mansur.Kemudian kenyataan dari Yayasan Syeikh Ali, turut memaklumkan berita kematian Syekh Ali dengan melaporkan keputusan Covid-19 adalah negatif.Syekh Ali Jaber berusia 44 tahun pernah disahkan positif Covid-19 pada 29 Disember 2020 kemudian dimasukkan ke Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) keesokan harinya di Rumah Sakit Yarsi.Sebelum itu, keadaan kesihatan Syekh Ali Jaber dilaporkan bertambah baik pada 4 Januari seperti mana dilaporkan dalam akaun Instagram miliknya."Keadaannya semakin baik, pasukan perubatan mengatakan ada kemajuan, cukup baik dan terus menunjukkan peningkatan," menurut kenyataan pada Instagram itu.Bagaimanapun beberapa hari kemudian, gambar beliau tersebar di laman sosial menunjukkan Syekh Ali tidak sedarkan diri dan menggunakan alat pernafasan atau ventilator.Di ruang komen juga, orang ramai tidak putus mendoakan kesejahteraan beliau dan berharap diberi kesembuhan.Pendakwah ini telah mula menghafal 30 juzuk al-Quran pada usia 10 tahun dan kemudian usia 13 tahun telah diamanahkan menjadi imam masjid di sebuah masjid di kota Madinah. Beliau dilahirkan di Madinah pada 3 Februari 1976.Anak pertama dari 12 adik-beradik mula aktif berdakwah di Indonesia pada usia 32 tahun ketika dia mendirikan rumah tangga dengan Umi Nadia. Beliau kemudian menetap di Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB).Di Lombok, beliau terus aktif dalam dunia dakwah dengan menjadi guru Al-Quran, imam, dan pendakwah di Masjid Besar Al-Muttaqin Cakranegara, Lombok, NTB, Indonesia.
